چکیده

Metribuzin is a pre- and post-emergence triazinone herbicide used in variety of crops. This degraded the environment into three major metabolites that have high water solubility, to very soil mobility, low moderate persistence soil. paper describes development an analytical method based on ultrasound-assisted extraction GC-MS/MS determination for metribuzin its main plants. The developed provided good recoveries all compounds plants (from 73 121%). quantitation limits obtained from (2.6 18 µg/kg) allow determining presence these at trace levels. To evaluate applicability methods, bean were grown plastic pots with treated collected after 23 days. At end assay, only 11% initial concentration remained detected plants, desamino-diketo-metribuzin most abundant metabolite. It expected application methods can provide more data monitor residues due treatments.

Perchloroethylene Analysis by Chemical Oxidation and Determination of Intermediate Products by Gas Chromatography, Mass Spectrometry

Abstract Background and Objective: Perchloroethylene (PCE) is a chlorinated hydrocarbon used as a solvent in many industrial processes. In contaminated water and soil a great deal of PCE is found. This study aimed to determine the rate of decomposition of PCE occurred after advanced oxidation. Material and Methods: In this descriptive-analytic study conducted (2011) in public health faculty...

Determination of the herbicide metribuzin and its major conversion products in soil by micellar electrokinetic chromatography.

In this paper, a multiresidue method for the analysis in soils of metribuzin (M) and its major conversion products, deaminometribuzin (DA), diketometribuzin (DK) and deaminodiketometribuzin (DADK) is developed. Considering the neutral and charged nature of the molecules, micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC) is a very efficient method for the separation of these compounds, providing hig...

Simultaneous Determination of Disinfection By-products in Water Samples from Advanced Membrane Treatments by Headspace Solid Phase Microextraction and Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry

A headspace-solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method has been developed for the simultaneously determination of 20 disinfection by-products (DBPs) in water samples from reverse osmosis (RO) membranes. Selected compounds belong to different families including: trihalomethanes (THMs), halogenated acetonitriles (HANs), halogenated nitromethanes ...

Determination of imidacloprid in water and soil samples by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry

A method for determination of imidacloprid in water and soil samples, previous hydrolysis in basic medium, followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and selected ion monitoring. A 250-ml sample water was previously heated in basic medium to give a hydrolysis compound of adequate volatility. The hydrolysis product which was extracted and isolated with chlorotorm was identified and found t...
